What does your path look like?

Once the weather gets a little bit warmer here in Maine the beaches start seeing a lot more traffic. Whether folks are out for a walk, going swimming or having a picnic there are few beaches where you will find a patch of undisturbed sand let alone the path a periwinkle has traveled. I love how they just mosey-on along with not a care in the world - or so it seems.

Do you ever wonder what your daily path looks like? I would love to see the path of steps I've taken in a day - do I really go as far as I think I do?

Scent of Spring

Hyacinths are one of my favorite spring flowers. I sat on my front steps this weekend knitting while my 7 year old rode her bike - as the breeze carried the sweet scent my way the smell of spring tickled my nose.

Sandscapes

I love how the currents of the ocean make these amazing designs in the sand.

A beach walk

There is something so calming and reflective about what happens when you can walk along the beach alone.

Kelp

This green kelp had also grown on the ships rudder.

I love the way the light changes the hues of green.
